The only difference between our old and new ovens is that the new one is self-cleaning. Yay!
And our old oven lasted about 17 years, so we knew we were buying a reliable appliance.

The oven looks great in the wall and cooks/bakes evenly.
My reason for writing a review is due to the fact there is no pre-heated indicator light or audio alert. When I turn the oven on, after a few minutes there is an audio tone. Oven is not yet pre-heated at that time. I had a tech come out to verify it was working correctly. He said yes and explained that is how all the models are made now. My older model that stopped working still had a functioning pre-heat light. A shame that my previous, much older model outdid this new, more costly model in that area.

We live in an old house, so finding a wall oven that fit and that met our performance and quality requirements was difficult. This GE oven fit the bill! It heats quickly and maintains a constant temperature.

It's pretty basic but that's all I need.
The up/down buttons are pretty hard to push. Other buttons are easy to push.
The face has a stain that does not come off. Looks like a foot long smear. I've tried to polish it with several things but doesn't come off.

I had the original wall oven in my 1956 kitchen and my cabinet space was limited. I selected this particular wall oven because it was small enough to fit in the cabinet that was already there.It came with two racks but has room for four so I was able to purchase two extra racks. Super efficient oven.

So far so good. I baked chocolate chip cookies, and it seems to cook much more even. You can hear a fan running, which I never heard with my old wall oven. Hopefully I will bake many more batches of cookies and other goodies in my new oven. I love to bake, so a good oven is a must. And it looks amazing as well. The combination of stainless steel and the black control panel look great.

I purchased this oven I have it same one before I was happy but this one it™™s make noise and doesn™™t make the temperature which is supposed to be I put 350 seems like it 250 Fahrenheit so it™™s making me concern i™™m thinking to return

I was so pleased with the ease of installation and the clarity of instructions. I was replacing an old model GE 24™ and was surprised that everything matched up the same, even screw holes. All I had to add was a junction box. The screen was easy to use and the oven heated to the temperature much faster than our old oven. Loved the digital temp readout. Thanks for a great product.

Hello, I am really impressed with this oven, we had a Cosmo before and it took 30 plus minutes to get to a set temp. This oven heats quickly to temp in 5 minutes. The oven cooks evenly and we use it mainly for roast chicken, pot roasts , pork roasts. Can't wait to get a turkey in it for Christmas.

We have only used the GE 24" Wall Oven a few times since purchased.
It fit perfectly into the existing cutout, after removing the older Sears 24" model oven.
There is no heat escape, and the outside of the oven stays very cool to the touch.
The control panel is simple & user friendly. We have not (yet) used the broiler or the self clean modes.(Jury is out on those modes.)
Timer beeping is loud and helpful, especially once time has expired.
The timer (beep) continuing, requiring a reset or cancel, is a good feature that does require someone's immediate attention.
The sliding rack(s) safety feature is fairly standard, but no less important to those who will use this GE Wall Oven.
The door & door gasket appears to be a better design than previously owned models.

Very good installation team. Friendly, efficient, courteous, and timely doing the work! Good fit into the wall space. Started the recommended "power-on" burn-in to release any of the contaminants from manufacturing process. The oven operated very well with the electronic controls. Much better than the mechanical controls on the 35 year old oven,

We had a hard time finding the right one to replace the old one we had (wall oven) because they didn™™t make them anymore that big we have a older home with a custom built cabinet it fit great we went with stainless steel and it looks great with everything

I'm so pleased with this wall oven. The stainless steel and black give a boost to my kitchen's appearance. The controls are user-friendly and easy to operate. The door has a heavy, sturdy feel to it, and the interior of the oven is beautifully finished.
