We did receive the bottom oven heter element as scheduled. The next step was a piece of cake just by going online and watching a short video. Flip the off take the oven door off, removed the oven racks, then with a 1/4 handle socket removed 2 screws and with a gentle pull and a slight lift the two flat blade connectors appeared. The exchange of the old heater and the new bottom element took less than 5 minutes. 5 minutes after that the breaker was on and and the new element tests..... perfect, a nice red glow. Thank you so much

Oven heating element broke ,, strange yes. But it broke in 2 pieces. This company had the right part for my model and shipping wasn't bad. Would use company again if needed.

IThe range bake element was damaged™¦.scratched and nicked,™¦coating missing.I want a replacement that isn™™t damaged. A damaged element is a fire hazard and will not last long™¦.local appliance dealers and the copilot at Brave browser said send it back for a replacement! Send me alone in excellent condition!

Happy to have this item! It came with excellent service, price value and delivery!! Use a certified professional otherwise if this is a DIY project, please follow all the safety rules!!! Especially #1 rule which is to turn off the power to the circuit that the stove uses. Verify that the power is actually off (e.g., check if the stove's clock works). Then unplug the stove and follow the manufacturer's manual directions on replacing the stove's bake element to avoid a hazard.

The unit was fine and looks to be designed to replace without pulling out oven. Problem is the wires are too short, too tightly bundled to remove unit and have them wires stay out to reconnect to new unit. Had to pull oven out and do from access panel in back. Not a huge issue but if the wires were 2" longer it could be done without pulling out oven.

I recently discovered that the bake element in my GE Spectra Range had failed after many, many years. While I could have gone out and bought a new range, I went instead to the GE appliance parts store, looked up my model range, and quickly identified the element that I needed. The part was reasonably priced and it arrived much sooner than I had expected.
Replacing the burner element was not difficult and when I had finished and plugged the range back in, voila!, it works like new again. So for $60, I am back to baking and continuing to enjoy using my Spectra Range.
