We had to replace our microwave. and was happy that it was replaced with another HotPoint. It has a finer, cleaner look and updated options. I like the fact that I can turn off the turntable, it has better lighting and much better fans.

Very pleased with it. It fits perfectly in the space of the previous otr one. Easy to learn the controls. My only issue is that there was not a user manual included in the packaging. I disliked having to download it from the internet.

Not a well made product. Floor of interior is uneven. Plate and roller do not fit or rotate well. Cheap sounding door closing. Bad to go through trouble of installing and find it doesn't work well. I'd return except for the removal and reinstall of another.

We have had this Hotpoint microwave oven for approximately 3 months. The biggest problem with it is that the operating instructions are both unprovided in print and ridiculously complex. It should not require the operator to go through contortions to turn either the timer or the cook function on--but alas. Very little about the machine's operation is straightforward, and the instructions provided with the installation are both incomplete and unclear because of poor writing. The item itself works well once you can figure out how to turn it on.
I will add that the plastic sheeting covering the operation buttons is poorly designed; it started to bubble up and come loose with the first use.

Disappointed that the handle broke yesterday after only 5 months of use. Not a good grade of plastic in the handle. This part needs an upgrade to a stronger plastic.

This is not what I expected. This replaced an old Whirlpool microwave and this unit is clunky and requires too many buttons to do simple things. The door shuts hard and makes me feel like it is going to fall down every time I shut the door, especially since the installer damaged my cabinet upon installation. I would not choose to buy this and the only reason I got it is because my home warranty company had this as a replacement for my old one. Even the buttons are hard to push.

The microwave works very well and is easy to use. Unfortunately ours quit heating after 10 months. The door material began to crack after cleaning it with all purpose cleaner that is safe for all surfaces.
The warranty service was good. They came out and checked it out and ordered parts. When those parts were back ordered, they replaced the whole unit at no charge.

I like the microwave. It works good. The only thing I don't like is the clock does not stay on hourly time. Half of the day it converts to military time and then converts back to hourly time once it passes 12. I've set it so many times and still doesn't work. If someone would contact me that would be great.

We bought this same model 2 years ago. We were very happy with its updated features and power. It stopped heating food and made a terrible buzzing sound 2 days ago. Not wanting to go through the trouble of having to mount a different model, we have bought the same model again. If this one breaks after 2 years, we won™™t be buying it again

This is the 3rd iteration of this model microwave, that we have had, in 30 years. This unit, seems identical, to the first unit that we had. The best of all, was our second unit. Purchased around 2014-15. Quieter, 2 light panels, 2 vent screens, easier button programming, even though all 3 units, looked very similar, at first.

I bought this to replace a Hotpoint microwave that was approximately 22 years old. I just wish the mounting holes were the same as on the one being replaced. I had to drill new mounting holes in the kitchen cabinet. It™™s installed in a second home and is only used approximately one week each month.
