So, I'm curious. Having just bought this cooktop, should I go ahead and complain about the fact that the griddle indicated is out of stock and is not the same as the griddle in the advertisement? From what I can read there is no indication that any of these people, save 1, have actually received the griddle. Can you assure the availablity of this product? If so, by when? Cannot order this. Maytag advertises this product comes with the purchase of a cooktop. Only when you get your cooktop this is not with it. You have to order it. It is not available to order. Been trying since July 2026. Online help, call center all give a run around. Product is considered false advertising

Ridiculous that it did not come directly with the cooktop. The advertising made it look like it did. Also, the one picture is out of stock does not match the description online. Should be two sided. I will be contacting the attorney generals office in NM. This is false advertising. Maytag could also purchase this separately and ship it out to those of us needing it. Bad bus7. I guess Maytag is not the brand they once were. The griddle and bridge were the reasons I bought this.

What a rip off. Not only with poor customer service at Lowes, Maytag has ghosted all who bought the cooktop with the understanding it came with a free griddle. I am sending letters to corporate Lowes, the attorney general in Iowa and the Better Business Bureau. Please din't give me the standard response that you will look into it. I bought the cooktop in October and had to wait for 30 days as it was coming from the factory.

Maytag is a rip off. This used to be av very respected name in the US. I purchased cooktop from Lowes and the add clearly states that griddle was included. When cooktop arrived no griddle was included, I get email from magtag saying i can use promo code to order on free but when trying to use code in the cart is states cannot ship to me and i have to purchase at store but no store available in my state

This is a complete scam. Product description says griddle included. Primary reason I purchased the cooktop. It isn't included. Has to be ordered. Out of stock. Wth? I plan to notify my State's Attorney General to report false advertising on a grand scale.

Same thing as everyone else. The main reason I purchased this stovetop was for the ™included™ griddle, which of course was not included. Then, the ™Redeem Now™ griddle is.. you guessed it, out of stock. Can™™t say I™™m surprised. Very disappointed.

I tried to redeem my offer to get this free griddle with my $1,000 stove top that I got because it said it was included that's literally the only reason I bought it I didn't want that stove you guys tricked me and then finally I find out on the internet that there was supposed to be a paper in my box that told me how to get my griddle but there was no paper in my box so I finally register it and get on there and it's sold out and I can't even get my griddle now because the offer has expired because you guys are out of stock that's not right I will not be buying any Maytag items anymore if this is not resolved

I bought a stovetop that was supposed to come with this griddle. It was the main reason I spent so much for the stovetop. It didn™™t come with it in the box, but they promised they™™d send it after registration. They directed me here and it™™s SOLD OUT!! Why not just put it in a box?! Now I have to wait until after it™™s available again, and judging by the reviews, there™™s a long line! So disappointed.

Like others have noted, the cooktop is out of stock. The chat feature on the website won't go to a person even though it is during regular business hours. I sat on hold and have been waiting over half an hour for a call back after sitting on hold with customer service to speak with a person. I noticed everyone being helped by leaving a negative review, and it seems one person has received their griddle. So, I'm going to try this route.

Bought the cooktop ONLY because it came with a griddle/grill. My griddle is a piece of paper! Register and it will ship. Not what I expect from Maytag. Not only is my griddle a piece of paper but I can™™t redeem my ™free™ griddle that I PAID for because it™™s out of stock! Not only does Maytag not answer the phone, they don™™t answer the chats either! After 2 months of waiting for something that I could have bought in any other model, I™™m stuck with a no customer service company. Run! Don™™t get suckered!

Same story different day. I contacted customer service to get the griddle and was told it was out of stock but I would get one once they got more stock. I bought the stovetop in April and now mid August I still have no ™free™ griddle. This should have been in the box with the cooktop. Very misleading and not what I expected from Maytag!

I bought the electric stovetop that this griddle is supposed to come with in January. I've requested the griddle every month since, and always get the response that griddle is out of stock. Now just today, July 15th, I get an email to redeem my griddle - but when I tried to redeem it on your website, it shows "not in stock." All of the other 8 reviews of this griddle say almost the same thing. Come on Maytag - show some professionalism and fix this problem ASAP.

Seeing lots of reviews about griddle not being part of purchase. I called Maytag because the griddle did not come with our stovetop either. They explained to me that the promo did force the product to go on back order and to be patient. Well it paid off. Griddle showed up finally and yes it took almost three months but I did not mind considering they explained to me that it was a popular promo that sold the item out and it would eventually show up.

We bought this cookstove because it had this griddle with it, and it has been nothing but a total nutjob to get this griddle that we thought would come in the box with the cooktop, since it was advertised with it. We registered the cooktop and now got the email to tell us to claim the griddle. Went on the Maytag site and it is out of stock. Seriously!! I bought this a month ago and I am very disappointed because I believed the cooktop included a griddle accessory. It turns out that the griddle is "temporarily unavailable". It has been weeks since I contacted Maytag to get the griddle and nothing has happened. When i bought this appliance, there were several cooktops available to purchase and the griddle feature was a deciding feature in my decision-making process. This has not been a good experience with Maytag.
