The hood moves air adequately and is reasonably quiet. However the controls weigh negatively on the overall score as they are difficult to access and even more difficult to read.

Garbage, a very expensive piece of garbage. While the hood exhaust works well, the lighting is absolutely worthless. Can™€™t see anything on the range without using an add on lighting source. See attached photo for a 20$ LED light I have to use to see what is being prepared on the range! So disappointed in this appliance.

When it works it's great. Problem is that its now went down twice in less than 2 years in a new home!! Same issue, main circuit board error and the fan motor will not turn off. Having to use our breaker to operate the hood for two weeks.

This wasn't the original hood I paid for with the builder, claims they could not get the hood I wanted and put this one in. As with other reviews the lighting is not good at all. This is not Monogram standard

Inferior Lighting

Due to COVID & supply chain issues industry wide, we were unable to view this product prior to ordering & installing. This unit came highly recommended for CFM, Variable Fan Speed and Lighting by our wholesale/retail vendor. Advertised: "Designed to meet a range of lighting needs, these versatile LED lights offer six levels of intensity, from ambient to low/night illumination." Specs say 4 lighting levels. My husband and I are avid cooks and we can hardly see what we are cooking on the highest light level. Our under counter LED lights are 100x brighter than the hood's highest light level. There are only 4 levels: On ('ambient'), medium, low and Off. Not 4 distinct light levels and certainly not 6. You can barely tell the difference between the light levels. We had numerous GE repairman service this hood, replaced the electronics board & LED light board - with no improvement. GE states the LED light strip is operating as designed. Unfortunately, the design is poor and not designed for anyone that needs to or wants to see what they are cooking. We are currently researching alternative replacement options.
